Hi, my name is "Em" and I am trying to lose weight! I am currently trying a few plans. I am not trying to be a leader
or get people to follow what I do to lose weight.. just to be honest and journal what I am doing, how I'm doing it, what
others are doing that make it work for me. Essentially, I think the site will provide some sort of therapy for me as I attempt
to do something I've been trying to do for years: lose the excess weight, keep it off, and quit gaining more.

10/17/2005: Revamp of site. Some of you from the "boards" used to know me and my previous page with "4thquarter."
Well, about a month ago, a few of my students (I'm a high school teacher) found my site.. and needless to say, it was embarassing
for me and invited WAY too many questions. I immediately ripped it off the published site and then finally came back to re-do
it.. this time with an alias name "Em" and little personal information with regard to where I live, where I used to live,
etc etc.
I thought a lot about the stuff I would want to put on here and I came up with things that I would want to know about
as a person trying to lose weight and stay motivated. Hope this stuff helps you on your journey too!
